First I want to thank everyone of you out there who are coming here and checking this site and downloading the show. I also want to thank everyone who is subscribed either through iTunes or another feed reader or possibly using some of the other directories out there.
Thanks
As I’ve explained before I’m doing this to create a space in my life for change and evolvement of the way I’m doing things. After a long reflection I came up with the idea to do this show and now I have eleven episodes up, which I’m very proud of.
Proud not only because they are my production but proud that there are people out there who trust me enough to share something of themselves, sometimes very personal things. I’m also proud because of you the reader and listener. I’m humbled that you feel that what I’m doing here is worth a listen and maybe you get something from it.
I have very little idea who you are. What I do know I’d like to share with you. I know that you’re from primarily the USA and Australia (I’m in Australia and the US is a huge market) but also from all over the world.
I know that you are a small group certainly not the hundreds or thousands of some podcasts but there are a few dozen of you subscribed and the same number who listen and download from the site. To date the total of all episodes have been downloaded about 650 times.
I go, “WOW”, and I’m humbled that is how many times the show has been exposed to you. Continue Reading »

Here we are in an era of mass communication where an idea can move in a moment around the globe. Where we can share information and give others a chance to see who we are.
But who are we…
If you believe mass media, I’m afraid you’ll end up confused as they have motives for their own benefits and frankly they don’t care for culture just the bottom line.
I’ve been ranting and raving for years about the slow erosion of what it is to be Australian. That is to say who we are, who I am, not better than anyone else just Australian like all of us, in all our variations.
I found this on You Tube. Thanks whoever made this.
So who are we…

I heard about the Greenhouse Effect in the early 80’s and I’ve been waiting to see when the general public would start to get the picture, and now we have. Now we have a debate but it’s only a public debate the scientists all agree (all but the few) but the public isn’t listening to the scientists, the tens of thousand of educated men and women who study and know all the background information that has led to their opinions.
The general public listens to the popular and noisy commentators who aren’t as educated or have vested interests elsewhere.
However… Maybe the scientists may be wrong… Sure, nothing is for certain. Look at the panic caused about the Y2K problem. Fizzier wasn’t it? What a waste of money. Although, have you ever wondered that maybe all the work done because of the concern that was created may have averted the problem so it never happened and now we have the benefits of no problem, just a few dollars spent.
Well what if the same situation plays out with global climate change?
Here is the best way I’ve come across to explain it.
