good advice.. but whatever you do. dont try and turn it on, it stuffs up your phone or ipod because of the electricity or something. just take it apart and dry it out.
GOOD LUCK x

my cell phone fell into a toilet (don't ask) once, luckily into plain water. so, like a reflex my hand shot down and got it out. just within those 3 seconds a lot of water had gotten into it. it still seemed to work but after a few minutes it gave up. i did what u did, took it apart and waited for everything to dry, for about two days. in my case it worked, i am still using this phone today. not sure if it would have come back to life after a complete washing programme... so cool, if it would have worked for your ipod. even though i knew how the story ended, when watching, i still held my breath and sort of hoped for a miracle. i am waiting for new conent ian!
all the best for you! and always remember: if it's not dirty - don't wash it :P

Leave it in the sun for a few days, before you decide to throw it away, it might still come good,

In the instruction book that comes with the Ipod it doesn't say "Dont put it in a sock and reset it 12 times with a hammer" so maybe thats what it needs, but try the Sunny window sill first.

Cheers, Anthony
