I was thinking, as I was listening to your very interesting and comfortable conversation with Matt here, how much I like podcasting. As you pointed out in the interview, the news is so heavily driven by needing to make money, which seems to keep supporting negativity in the print journalism. Listening to your whole podcast series, for example, gives me information about people, about things worth knowing. You leave me feeling like people are valuable and good to know, rather than fearing the dark ugliness of people that seems to make it into the newspapers. Keep it up! I love getting to know the people you find to talk to.

Ian,

Fantastic podcast. Really, really good.

Technically: You need a quieter pub. At least I now know the secret to a good interview - pale ale!

Content: Exceptional. IMO every bit as good as the mainstream shows e.g. some of Radio National's.

Thank you so much for giving your own time an money to make this happen. I can't wait to listen to some others.
